Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada is procuring 17 low-temperature plant growth chambers through Supply Arrangement E60PV-19EQUI for laboratory and scientific equipment. Only suppliers currently pre-qualified under that supply arrangement may submit bids. Award will be recommended to the responsive bidder meeting all mandatory technical criteria with the lowest aggregate price. The chambers will be delivered to five research locations. Mandatory requirements include new, current-production reach-in chambers with adjustable shelving, specified temperature ranges and low-temperature operation, high-intensity adjustable LED lighting, humidity control, refrigeration with CFC-free refrigerant, industrial controls with touchscreen data logging and alarms, electrical and mobility specifications, and operational and maintenance documentation. Small units also require a minimum two-year parts-and-labor warranty. The estimated contract period is five months.
