Description
Shared Services Canada is procuring enterprise storage hardware, associated software, and hardware and software maintenance and support, or equivalent products, on behalf of the Department of National Defence. The requirement includes storage arrays, NVMe flash media, Ethernet and Fibre Channel connectivity components, storage upgrades, software subscriptions, documentation, warranties, and related support. Proposed equivalents must be fully compatible, interchangeable, and interoperable with Canada's existing equipment and must satisfy mandatory unified file, object, and block storage; NVMe; licensing; security; encryption; secure boot; and storage-protocol requirements. The initial deliverables comprise six line items with stated quantities, including five storage-array units, subscription and support quantities, break-fix storage capacity, Fibre Channel/Ethernet components, and NVMe/RoCE upgrades. Delivery is required within 60 days of contract award, with a three-year software support period and hardware/software warranty periods specified by the deliverables. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated total price will be recommended for one contract award. Suppliers that are not the original equipment manufacturer must provide OEM certification, and bidders must submit the applicable supply-chain integrity, integrity, and reciprocal-procurement documentation.
