Description
The NATO Communications and Information Agency is conducting market research for a voice and data gateway supporting real-time voice, messaging, and data exchange across strategic, operational, and tactical echelons. The solution must enable interoperability among Allied national radios operating with different modes, electronic protective measures, and encryption mechanisms, and must support NATO classified and unclassified information. Respondents should identify currently supported tactical radios, explain how new radios would be integrated, address applicable FMN spiral compatibility, and describe antenna support for HF/VHF/UHF bands, 360-degree coverage, and reduced electromagnetic footprint. Tactical radios themselves are outside the scope. The requirement also includes a suitable mobile or deployable carrier for radio and crypto assets. Responses must include company and capability information, technical responses, recommendations or clarification of requirements, and a Rough Order of Magnitude cost estimate for relevant commercial products and components, including separate optional line items, inclusions, exclusions, and cost drivers for a limited proof of concept. This is an RFI for acquisition planning only and is not a solicitation for award; responses are due by 12:00 CET on November 4, 2026.
