Description
The Barbados Water Authority seeks a cab and chassis for transporting and delivering potable water using an existing 1,700-US-gallon tank. The vehicle must be right-hand drive and may use an electric, diesel-hybrid, or diesel engine. Required features include power-assisted steering, specified braking and tire configurations, driver and co-driver seating with three-point belts, air conditioning, warning instruments, an amber beacon, mud flaps, and a 12- or 24-volt electrical system. The vendor must install the existing cylindrical tank on a dummy chassis and provide a PTO-driven cast-iron water pump rated at approximately 150 US gallons per minute and 72 PSI, with at least 100 feet of head. The scope also includes a USB music-box system, food-safe epoxy treatment for the tank interior where applicable, silver tank paint, customized green-and-white cab paint, BWA logos and drinking-water signage, a spare wheel and tools, and English parts and maintenance manuals for the truck and pump. The response must include the completed bid submission and tender/quotation forms, required technical and quotation information, and applicable business-registration and clearance documents through the Government of Barbados e-procurement portal.
