Description
This Sources Sought announcement seeks qualified construction firms capable of developing an aircraft parking apron primarily accommodating six large-frame aircraft at Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindal. The anticipated scope includes shoulders, multiple taxiways, runway connections, utilities, airfield lighting, grading and drainage, access roads, site preparation, and a Type III in-ground hydrant fueling system. The anticipated construction magnitude is $150 million-$200 million. Respondents must submit the completed Questionnaire and Experience Questionnaire forms, limited to six single-sided 8.5-by-11-inch pages using at least 10-point font. The response must demonstrate relevant experience in airfield Portland cement concrete or asphalt concrete pavement and aviation fuel systems, include up to five relevant projects completed or substantially completed within the past 15 years, and provide a corporate surety letter stating single-contract bonding capacity. The announcement is for market research only and will not result in an award.
