Description
The Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program is conducting market research for approximately 86 new turbomolecular pumping stations over five years. The required system is a compact, integrated, oil-free, benchtop unit combining a turbomolecular high-vacuum pump, dry scroll backing pump, integrated controller, and separate variable leak valve. It must support high-vacuum chambers, sensors, transducers, and related calibration equipment, achieve specified vacuum performance, and operate with an ISO-LF DN 100 connection. The equipment must meet detailed performance, environmental, physical, electrical, safety, documentation, warranty, and testing requirements. Used, reconditioned, and remanufactured material is unacceptable. Respondents must provide a capability statement, company and business-size information, relevant experience and sales history, technical literature, commercial or modification status, pricing for one unit and the estimated total quantity, delivery estimates, warranty information, and other market-research data. This is a sources-sought/RFI notice and not a solicitation or offer request.
