Description
The City of Westerville is soliciting an MBE-certified contractor for Brooksedge Area Mobility Improvements, Phases 2 and 3, Project No. 2026-010. The work includes approximately 39,000 square feet of concrete sidewalk, 4,600 linear feet of 10-foot-wide asphalt path, drive apron replacement, curbs and gutters, pavement and pavement markings, retaining walls, traffic control, erosion controls, storm drainage, waterline and fire hydrant work, utility structure adjustments, landscaping, irrigation repairs, and related construction. The engineer's estimate is $1,941,000, and the project completion date is July 23, 2027. The solicitation is an MBE set-aside: only bidders or suppliers with an active MBE certification at the time the solicitation closes may submit a response. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements. Bidders must provide bid guaranty, and the successful contractor must furnish 100% performance and payment bonds and required insurance. Electronic bids must include the required bid guaranty and signed bid schedule; the Experience Record and Subcontractors Form are encouraged with the bid but may be submitted within two business days after closing.
