Description
This Sources Sought seeks information from vendors capable of supplying 100 new, unopened, manufacturer-authorized satellite phone kits meeting or exceeding the stated specifications, including an Iridium Extreme 9575 or equal. Each kit must include a compatible SIM card, rechargeable battery, chargers and adapters, auxiliary magnetic-mount antenna, USB data cable, hands-free headset, connector adapter, and user guide. The phones must provide ruggedized MIL-STD 810F and IP65 protection, satellite voice and messaging capabilities, and the listed display, keypad, battery, and security features. Each phone must include a prepaid global service plan valid for 720 days with at least 6,000 minutes and serviceability in Mexico. SIM cards must be pre-activated and associated with the applicable plans before delivery, with IMSI and handset IMEI documentation provided. The contractor must perform operational testing, provide test results, specification sheets and photographs, deliver within 90 business days after award, and provide a 12-month in-country warranty without requiring export from Mexico for repair or replacement. The response must address delivery and importation scenarios, Mexican customs compliance, Spanish-language technical support, local warranty capability, operational testing, risks and mitigation, and an importation plan; this is market research only and is not a request for pricing or proposals.
