Description
Burlington County seeks a contractor to provide pharmacy services for approximately 300 adult male inmates at its correctional facility. The scope includes dispensing legend and over-the-counter medications, delivering filled prescriptions within 24 hours, separately packaging daily patient doses, maintaining computerized patient profiles and summary records, providing medication billing and reporting, supporting electronic communication with the County's medical-record system, supplying required carts and cassettes, and providing 24-hour emergency pharmacy service. The contractor must support psychiatric and non-psychiatric prescriptions, use generic or least-cost alternatives when possible, obtain County approval for substitutions, and administer manufacturer rebates or pass-through savings. Proposals must explain order submission, prescription filling, emergency orders, packaging and delivery, returns and credits for unused medications, and rebate handling. Pricing includes a per-inmate monthly management fee for two base years and one option year, plus reimbursement for prescription medication costs. Required submissions include the proposal and contract forms, qualifications and pharmacist licensing documentation, similar-contract references, pricing, required certifications, an insurance-broker statement, and other listed attachments. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the County's e-procurement platform in the original solicitation format; email, fax, courier, mail, and in-person submissions are not accepted.
