Description
Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors is soliciting tenders from four contractors shortlisted through its design-bid-build qualification process for BF 75055, carrying Highway 2 over Highway 39 near Leduc. The work includes traffic accommodation, a median detour bridge, demolition and disposal of the existing bridge deck, approximately 256 cubic metres of Class C concrete, corrosion-resistant and GFRP reinforcing steel, replacement of girder top-flange cover plates at 13 locations, and cleaning and painting girder ends, diaphragms, and bearings. The contractor must supply all materials. Tenders are limited to Alberco Construction Ltd., Carmacks Enterprises Ltd., Graham Infrastructure LLP, and PCL Construction Management Inc. The estimated contract period is 35 months, with a proposed start date of October 21, 2026, and completion date of October 15, 2029.
