Description
The County of Atlantic Cooperative is soliciting a contractor to furnish and deliver gasoline, diesel fuel, and No. 2 heating fuel to participating cooperative agencies and facilities. Deliveries are generally required within 24 hours after an authorized request and executed purchase order, during specified business-day delivery hours. Fuel must meet the stated quality, testing, metering, winter-blend, sulfur, octane, and other applicable specifications, with delivery certificates and billing documentation provided for each delivery. The contract will be awarded on a unit-price-per-gallon basis using the specified OPIS Newark, New Jersey rack pricing methodology plus or minus a firm delivery charge and other applicable adjustments. The estimated quantities are for bidding purposes and may increase or decrease according to agency requirements. The contract period is three years from notice of award through December 31, 2029, with cancellation options for later contract years. The solicitation requires five commercial gasoline references and specifies substantial insurance coverage, including general liability, automobile liability, excess/umbrella liability, and contractor’s pollution legal liability.
