Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting proposals for the KC-135 Center Console Refresh Revision 2 program to address critical obsolescence in the KC-135 refueling tanker. The effort requires updated or improved Fuel, Flight Display, and Flight Computer systems, including autothrottle capability, with turnkey solutions designed for supportability and future growth. Work includes engineering, manufacturing and development, systems integration, qualification and operational testing, production and deployment, aircraft installation, training, maintenance and repair support, technical-order sustainment, program management, cybersecurity, supply-chain risk management, and technical-data deliverables. The anticipated contract is a single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a 48-month base period and six one-year option periods. The proposal must address the revised Statement of Work and acknowledge the solicitation amendments. Amendment 05 revised SOW paragraphs 13.5 and 13.14, added Clause H005, removed RFO clause 52.246-17, and extended the proposal deadline to November 9, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time. Controlled documents require appropriate SAM.gov access, an active DD2345 through the Joint Certification Program, and the requesting company's CAGE code.
