Description
The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is establishing a qualified-contractor list for complex bridge and tunnel construction and repair work throughout its territory. Qualified contractors may subsequently be invited to bid on competitive procurements or receive negotiated contracts for eligible work. Potential work includes construction of complex new bridges, replacement of bridge decks, bridge strengthening and repairs, repairs to road or railway tunnel walls and vaults, cable or hanger replacement, repairs to prestressed or box-girder bridge elements, and other specialized bridge and tunnel work requiring particular expertise. The qualification list is valid for an indefinite period, subject to termination by the ministry, and the qualification notice will be relaunched at least annually. Contractors may submit a completed qualification application at any time in accordance with the qualification documents.
