Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting eight new rear-loading garbage compactor trucks for municipal waste collection and transport in Aleppo City. Each truck must have a 16-cubic-meter compactor body with a minimum 2-cubic-meter rear hopper and comply with the specified chassis, axle-load, weight-distribution, safety, and operating requirements. Addendum 01 confirms that the preferred configuration remains a 6x2 chassis with a single steered trailing/tag axle; the required 150-day delivery period remains unchanged. The trucks must be supplied with the required technical documentation, testing evidence, warranty certificates, and related materials. The scope includes delivery under DAP terms to the Aleppo City project site, inspection, commissioning, testing, operator and maintenance training, warranty coverage of at least 12 months, local or regional after-sales support, and maintenance and training manuals. Bidders must submit technical and price offers, completed returnable forms, registration and financial documentation, similar-project evidence, technical compliance materials, and a USD 12,500 bid security. A 10% performance security applies only to the recommended bidder after award; Addendum 01 confirms that a banker's draft or certified cheque may be provided instead of a performance bank guarantee.
