Description
This project involves various pedestrian improvements, including the installation of concrete pipe, grading, borrow excavation, check dams, siltation control, and aggregate material. It also includes asphalt concrete paving, saw-cut asphalt concrete, and the installation of standard and combination curb and gutter, as well as detectable warning surfaces and concrete sidewalks. The scope also encompasses handrails, commuter bus shelters, and demolition of flexible pavement. Additionally, the project requires modifications to existing controller cabinets and junction boxes, dust allaying, temporary barricades, temporary signs, truck-mounted attenuators, and channelizing devices. It also includes portable changeable message signs, electronic arrow boards, and flagger services for traffic control. Pavement marking eradication and temporary rumble strip arrays are also part of the scope. The project includes police patrol for flagging services, mobilization, flexible pavement planing, demolition of sign structures, and construction surveying. Landscaping elements such as tree removal, topsoil, seeding, and erosion control products are included, along with fertilizer and lime application. Sign post installation, concrete foundations, and pedestal pole installation for lighting are also required, as are signal mast arms and various conductor cables. Junction boxes, ground electrodes, and bored and PVC conduit installation are specified. Lighting poles, luminaire arms, and sign panels are to be installed. Finally, the project includes pedestrian actuation devices, video detection cable, hanger assemblies, and the removal of existing manholes/junction boxes, along with pedestrian signal heads and pavement line marking.
