Description
The United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General is accepting proposals on a rolling basis under a fiscal-year Broad Agency Announcement for specific professional, consultant, and support services. The currently open positions are Mail Theft/Mail Flow Training Specialist and Workers' Compensation Surveillance Specialist. The OIG may award all, some, or none of the proposals, and may establish one or more contracts for a position. The Mail Theft/Mail Flow Training Specialist will provide mail theft, narcotics, election, and mail-flow operations training; support analytical-tool development; maintain expertise in USPS processing, transportation, and delivery procedures; identify vulnerabilities; collaborate with USPS and investigative personnel; and prepare related training materials and work products. The Workers' Compensation Surveillance Specialist will support investigations through data review, physical and technology-assisted surveillance, interviews, records checks, investigative reporting, testimony, and related field activities. Proposals must identify the candidate's legal name and resume, applicable position title and duty locations, responses to the position-specific evaluation criteria, and a proposed hourly rate or firm-fixed price. Background and security documents are not required with the initial proposal and will be requested after an offer is made.
