Description
Barbados Port Inc. seeks 20 new lift trucks in four categories: five 3-metric-ton diesel trucks, five 3-metric-ton electric trucks, five enclosed and air-conditioned 3-metric-ton electric trucks, and five enclosed and air-conditioned 9-metric-ton diesel trucks. Suppliers may bid on any one or combination of categories. The equipment must meet detailed capacity, performance, safety, and operating-environment specifications, with category-specific accessories and equipment such as spare tires, chargers, batteries, manuals, and diagnostic tools where applicable. The scope includes delivery, on-site assembly and commissioning, functional testing, operator training, and technical/service training for maintenance staff. Proposals must describe the equipment, delivery lead time, technical compliance, warranty, after-sales support, spare-parts availability, and servicing arrangements. The technical proposal must also include relevant supplier experience, including at least three comparable contracts completed within the past seven years.
