Description
This project involves the replacement of a bridge over Seacock Swamp. The scope of work includes clearing and grubbing, regular excavation, dewatering, siltation control, and the installation of temporary silt fence. It also includes aggregate material, asphalt concrete for construction and base, structure excavation, and select backfill. The project requires pipe underdrain, coffer dams, and temporary bridge work. Additionally, it involves dynamic pile testing, prestressed concrete steel strand piles (18" and 24"), and driving tests for these piles. Concrete work includes Class B2, Class A4 modified lightweight, and Class A3 for substructures. Bridge deck grooving and cover depth surveys are also part of the scope. Other tasks include adjacent member connection block-outs, prestressed concrete slab installation, and reinforcing steel for structures and substructures. The project also entails the dismantling and removal of existing structures, environmental and worker protection, material disposal, dry riprap installation, and under-bridge access. Work also includes curb installation, guardrail systems (GR-MGS1, GR-MGS2, FOA-5), high visibility fencing, flexible pavement planing, and construction surveying. Site preparation includes tree removal, topsoil, and various seeding and erosion control measures, including temporary and regular seeding, overseeding, and hydraulic erosion control products. Fertilizer and lime application are also specified. Finally, the project requires a field office and mobilization.
