Description
The Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways is seeking construction services for an 18.20-kilometre surfacing structure on Highway 16, extending from 4.8 kilometres west of the Village of Paynton access to 5.0 kilometres east of the Town of Maidstone main access. The estimated quantities include 249,000 square metres of reclaimed asphalt concrete in place in the stockpile, 34,300 tonnes of asphalt concrete in place, and 11,200 tonnes of asphalt concrete in place on the shoulder. The work has phased completion dates: Phase I by March 31, 2027; Phase II by June 15, 2027; and Phase III by November 30, 2027. A deposit of 5% of the total bid is required with each tender. The opportunity is an open competitive procurement under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
