Description
The United Nations Development Programme seeks a contractor to rehabilitate approximately 3.6 kilometers of an existing gravel road and perform approximately 22,375 cubic meters of hill cutting in Kishendeh District, Balkh Province. The work includes excavation and disposal or reuse of cut material, road formation preparation, ditch construction, filling, scarification, grading, watering, compaction, sub-base and base-course placement, drainage and culvert-related works, traffic and safety measures, donor and safety signboards, site restoration, debris removal, and waste management. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, quality control, testing, and environmental, health, and safety management. Required equipment includes a 120–150 horsepower grader, a 10–12-ton vibratory roller, a 10,000–12,000-liter water tanker, and a 10–15-cubic-meter dumper. The quotation must include technical and financial offers, a five-month implementation work plan, relevant experience and financial documentation, key-personnel CVs and education certificates, machinery ownership or lease evidence, signed and stamped annexes, and a 10% performance security. The contract includes a 12-month defect liability period after implementation.
