Description
Margate City Public School District is seeking competitive proposals for an annual maintenance and operations contract supporting its existing, district-owned 12-strand single-mode fiber optic WAN. The approximately 0.2-mile fiber path connects William H. Ross III Intermediate School and Eugene A. Tighe Middle School, with service capacities ranging from 1 Gbps to 50 Gbps and installation and initial configuration identified in the service request. The selected contractor must provide an annual route ride-out with detailed quality-control engineering reports, 24/7/365 emergency technical assessment and repair response with a maximum next-business-day response window, and continuous communications during network restoration events. Labor must comply with applicable New Jersey prevailing-wage requirements. Vendors must maintain a valid SPIN and current SPAC, identify E-Rate eligibility percentages and SKU numbers for listed items, identify ineligible services, and certify that no covered FCC-prohibited company products or components are included. The initial contract term begins July 1, 2027.
