Description
The Department of National Defence is seeking a standalone, turnkey interferometric tire test system for nondestructive tire testing and analysis. The system must include integrated operating and analysis software, a laser measurement head, high-resolution camera, internal vacuum system, tire rotation mechanism, touchscreen controls, verification or calibration equipment, calibration accessories, cables, connectors, and other system-specific accessories. It must accommodate tires with an inside diameter of at least 210 mm, an outside diameter of no more than 940 mm, and a width of 80–300 mm, and export test results in Microsoft Excel-compatible files. The requirement includes delivery, on-site installation, commissioning, calibration, one day of on-site training, technical support during the warranty period, required safety and environmental documentation, equipment certificates, and a user operations manual. Optional deliverables include annual on-site preventive maintenance and calibration services for five option years. The system must be delivered within six months of contract award, and installation and commissioning must occur at the buyer's facility in Gatineau, Quebec.
