The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 5, Network Contracting Office 5, is modifying a presolicitation for a multiple-award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity architect and engineering contract for ongoing engineering services at Veterans Affairs medical facilities and supported community-based clinics. Work will be performed through individual task orders for projects in VISN 5, with specifications and drawings provided for each project. Resulting contracts will use fixed unit costs, while individual task orders will be competed among IDIQ awardees and priced as firm-fixed-price orders. The IDIQ contracts will have a ten-year term from award and an overall ceiling of $450 million across all awardees. Individual task orders will range from $2,500 to $2 million. The procurement remains a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside under NAICS 541330, with a $25.5 million small-business size standard. The anticipated solicitation date has been revised to late October or early November 2026. SF330s should not be submitted at the presolicitation stage.
