Description
The Government of Canada, through the Defence Investment Agency on behalf of the Department of National Defence, is soliciting bids for a domestic General Purpose Uncrewed Aircraft System capability. The requirement includes the supply and delivery of at least 80 UAS systems, associated payloads, ground control stations, support equipment, technical publications, spare parts, and software and firmware support. The scope also includes train-the-trainer services, airworthiness support, cybersecurity assurance, supply chain security, spectrum supportability, configuration management, and lifecycle sustainment. The systems will support Canadian Army domestic operations, including intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; situational awareness; force protection; disaster response; search and rescue support; infrastructure assessment; training; and experimentation. Participation is limited to qualified suppliers holding a Stream 1 Supply Arrangement under the Defence Drone Initiative.
