The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is issuing a Sources Sought notice for manufacturers capable of producing the intake manifold, NSN 2810016558445, part number 62765-2, for the KC-46 tanker. This solicitation is anticipated to result in a non-commercial Firm Fixed Price Contract in accordance with FAR Part 15. The final award decision may consider a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as detailed in the solicitation. The solicitation is expected to be issued around January 12, 2026. Manufacturers are requested to provide their location (city and state) and points of contact. Responses should include a completed surplus certificate (DLAD 52.211-9000) or adequate traceability documentation if the product is acceptable. Respondents should also identify the quantity available and the price. The government may adjust its acquisition strategy based on the availability of existing surplus or newly manufactured inventory that is in the best interest of the government.
