Description

The University of Utah, on behalf of the Utah Education and Telehealth Network consortium, is soliciting proposals for leased lit-fiber Ethernet wide-area-network services, shared UETN backbone connections, Internet access, and associated Category One network equipment. The procurement covers multiple bandwidth tiers, including WAN services from 1 Gbps through 100 Gbps, Internet access from 50 Gbps through 100 Gbps, and network equipment supporting the requested connections. Installation and initial configuration are required for the listed service requests. Wireless service is not accepted, and dark fiber is not accepted unless specifically requested. Vendors may bid by applicable location or circuit, and multiple awards may be made. WAN and backbone pricing is requested for five years with one optional one-year extension, while Internet access pricing is requested for three years with two sequential one-year extensions, except where the attachments specify otherwise.
