The Defense Logistics Agency, through the Air Force Sustainment Center, is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the new manufacture of aircraft turbine engine parts, specifically for NSN 2840-01-631-0215OK, Part Number 6052T90G02, associated with the J85 engine. This effort may also include component parts procurement, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, shipping, supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long-lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets. Potential sources are required to be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment necessary for new manufacture. This may involve non-recurring engineering costs associated with becoming an approved source. Interested parties must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package as specified in the Qualification Requirements for this item. Engineering data, if applicable, is available and requests should be submitted to the Tinker Engineering Drawings Public Sales Desk. The government is interested in all business sizes and types, including small businesses, 8(a)s, SDVOSBs, HUBZones, and WOSBs.
