Description
The Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) has issued a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) to modernize the Army's Organic Industrial Base by seeking innovative commercial technologies, products, and services. This initiative allows for streamlined acquisition processes and rapid award decisions for solutions that enhance defense manufacturing capabilities, including ground vehicle systems and counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS). Contracts awarded under this CSO may be structured as fixed-price contracts or non-FAR agreements. The CSO process may involve multiple phases, including solution briefs, presentations, and requests for Commercial Solution Proposals (CSPs), with the potential for new Areas of Interest (AoIs) to be added throughout its duration. Interested companies are encouraged to monitor SAM.gov for updates. Two specific Areas of Interest are highlighted: a "LOW COLLATERAL KINETIC INTERCEPTOR" for C-UAS capabilities (now closed) and a "TRANSPORTABLE C-sUAS PROTOTYPE" seeking solutions to detect, identify, track, and defeat Groups 1-3 UAS. Additionally, a "INFANTRY SQUAD VEHICLE (ISV) COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE AND FIELDING SUPPORT" AoI is seeking approaches for comprehensive maintenance and fielding support for ISV fleets.
