Description
The County of San Diego Sheriff's Office is soliciting bids for as-needed commissary items, including branded and brand-equivalent candy, snacks, shelf-stable meals, canned and pouched foods, sauces and condiments, drink mixes, coffee, personal-care and hygiene products, stationery, games, and other convenience items. The solicitation contains approximately 475 line items with estimated quantities and requires pricing on the provided Exhibit C Payment Schedule; award may be made by lot, line item, or total bid amount based on the lowest responsive pricing. Products must meet detailed packaging, labeling, shelf-life, barcode, and quality requirements. The awarded vendor must support as-needed ordering, achieve a 95% order-fill rate, deliver to the East Mesa Central Warehouse within 48 hours, accept County procurement cards for orders under $5,000, and replace missing or expired products at the vendor's expense. Bids must include the required County forms and completed payment schedule; samples may be required after the bidder is informed of the lowest bid, and proposed equal products require supporting information.
