Backcountry Cross-Country Skis, Bindings, and Accessories

The Government of Canada is soliciting offers for the supply and delivery of 300 pairs of unisex backcountry cross-country skis with mounted universal bindings, 330 pairs of adjustable heavy-duty ski poles, including 20 spare pairs, 30 ski binding repair kits, 30 pairs of replacement traction skins, one manufacturer mounting-equipment set, and 15 ski-pole parts kits. The skis must support off-trail movement and include reinforced construction, full-length steel edges, replaceable traction skins, and a waxless or P-Tex base. Bindings must accommodate common Canadian Armed Forces winter boots in sizes 6 through 13-plus and be adjustable in severe cold. Poles must adjust from 110 to 155 cm and include interchangeable baskets and arctic-mitten-compatible hand loops. Complete technical specifications or descriptive literature demonstrating compliance with all mandatory criteria must accompany the offer. Delivery is required no later than December 18, 2026, and the contract period runs from the contract date through December 18, 2026.
