Description
The University of Saskatchewan is seeking an investment consultant to support approximately $3.6 billion across six entities: three defined benefit pension plans, two defined contribution pension plans, and trust and endowment funds. The scope includes governance and policy support, asset allocation, investment manager research and monitoring, performance and risk reporting, custom target date fund oversight, responsible-investing and ESG support, committee education, and implementation assistance. The initial contract term is five years, with one five-year extension option. Proponents must submit pricing for recurring consulting services and special projects, including manager searches, asset-liability studies, governance reviews, investment structure reviews, responsible-investing projects, and custom target date fund work. The proposal package requires a proposal, rate sheet, investment consultant questionnaire, validation form, contract terms, references, and sample deliverables, including an AI usage guidelines document and representative investment, governance, reporting, and educational materials.
