Purchase of Washer Compact XL

The Department of the Air Force is seeking to purchase approximately 2100 compact XL washing machines. These machines must be freestanding, front-load, European-style, and commercially available in Europe with CE certification. Key specifications include a washing capacity of 9kg or 10kg, an energy efficiency rating of 'A', and dimensions not exceeding 85cm (H) x 60cm (W) x 70cm (D). The drum opening must be a minimum of 34cm, and the unit should feature an inverter motor or better. The voltage requirement is 220-240V/50Hz with a maximum rated current of 16A. The power cable must be at least 140cm long with a right-angle German Schuko-type plug. The color must be white, and all control settings, cycle names, labels, and displays must be in English, though universal symbols are acceptable if explained in the user's manual. The washing machines must include a minimum of 12 wash programs, including quick and eco modes, and have a maximum spin speed of at least 1400 rpm. Noise levels should not exceed 55 dBA for washing and 75 dBA for spinning. The material must be rust-proof stainless steel or equivalent. A standard 2-year warranty for the entire appliance is required, along with a Dual AquaStop protection system or equivalent. Additional features include a sensor for leaks, height-adjustable feet, a child safety lock, anti-vibration design, automatic load balancing, an end-of-cycle indicator, a load size sensor for optimal water use, foam detection, and variable water temperature settings (Cold, 30c, 40c, 60c, 90c). The delivery is expected within 90 calendar days from the date of award to Einsiedlerhof Air Station in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
