Description
Gainesville Regional Utilities is soliciting scheduled supply and delivery of liquefied petroleum gas to its distribution systems. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, unloading, tank-level monitoring, visual inspections, and continuous inventory management for approximately 30,000 to 50,000 gallons annually. Deliveries will serve multiple GRU subdivisions and other locations in its service area, with minimum tank-level requirements varying by season or remote-monitoring arrangement. The scope also includes emergency fuel restoration within two hours of notification, transportation and pump-down of 1,000-gallon tanks, and as-needed maintenance or repair of tank accessories. Bidders must submit pricing based on a per-gallon charge above the BPN Weekly Propane Newsletter price, along with certifications, experience references, an emergency response and delivery plan, regulatory and licensing certification, EMR documentation, and required portal forms. The contract term is February 1, 2027, through January 31, 2030, with a possible two-year renewal and an additional six-month extension for re-solicitation purposes.
