Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel for Astoria Power Plant

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) is soliciting vendors to furnish and deliver 0-75,000 barrels of Ultra-Low Sulfur Distillate (ULSD) Oil with a maximum sulfur content of 15 ppm. Delivery must be made by barge or ship only, in cargo sizes specified by NYPA. The oil quality must strictly comply with NYPA Contract Specifications, including Colonial Pipeline Grade 62/67, and be non-dyed and non-bio diesel. This is a continuous procurement solicitation, with oil procurement made on a spot basis as needed to replenish inventory. Proposals will be issued separately to qualified and approved bidders. Interested firms must demonstrate proven financial track records, documented history and experience with ULSD, and comply with NYPA's contractual requirements. Suppliers must have clear title to sell the oil and provide proof of financial capability.
