Statewide Debt Collection Services

This statewide contract will provide state agencies and public entities with access to debt collection service firms to collect debt at competitively awarded rates. Awarded Contractors will provide various debt collection services. The estimated annual worth for this contract is $485,000. Examples of common debts to be collected include General Collections (unsecured debts owed by individuals or businesses), Educational Collections (unsecured educational student loans), and Legal Services Collections (legal actions associated with filed warrants and judgments, including initiating levies on financial assets and garnishing wages). All legal actions will be conducted in the name of the awarded bidder, in compliance with RCW 19.16.270.
