Wildfire Guardian Camera System Support

Natural Resources Canada intends to award a contract for renewal of hardware and software support for an existing wildfire camera detection system at the Petawawa Research Forest. The system includes two optical camera sensor systems and Nuvis Technologies Inc.'s Wildfire Guardian fire-detection monitoring software. The requirement includes software maintenance, diagnostics and troubleshooting, administrator support, and software upgrades. Hardware support includes annual preventive maintenance, seasonal startup and shutdown, and corrective-maintenance labor for all equipment. Respondents must demonstrate that they are licensed or authorized to support Nuvis hardware and software, modify and maintain Wildfire Guardian through Nuvis, and provide the required equipment support. The proposed contract runs from March 31, 2027, through March 30, 2028, with three additional one-year option periods. The estimated value, including options, is CAD 145,000, excluding GST/HST.
