Electric Energy Contract-for-Difference

Edmonton School Division (the Division) is issuing a Request for Supplier Qualifications (RFSQ) to establish a Qualified Supplier Roster for electric energy suppliers capable of providing a fixed-for-floating price hedge (Contract-for-Difference) for the Division's electric energy requirements. The selected suppliers will enter into second-stage competitive processes (Request for Quotes) for specific contracts. The RFSQ is open and ongoing, with a placeholder submission deadline of December 31, 2025, due to system requirements; the process may be amended or cancelled at any time.
