Description
The U.S. Department of Defense is seeking a firm-fixed-price contractor to decommission, remove, dispose of, and replace the existing unserviceable 150 kVA/120 kW Toyo Denki Seizo TYND-215 diesel generator at Building 121, Camp Zama, Japan. The contractor must supply a new 150 kVA/120 kW, 208/120 VAC, 50 Hz diesel generator; integrate it with the existing automatic transfer switches, fuel tank, electrical wiring, exhaust system, and air-intake ducts where suitable; and comply with Japanese emissions, noise, safety, and environmental regulations. The scope includes site preparation, delivery, installation, hazardous-material disposal at off-base facilities, and disposal documentation. The contractor must perform electrical and mechanical testing, an eight-hour load test, commissioning, training, and handover documentation. The replacement system must include a minimum two-year warranty with on-site repair and troubleshooting capability in Japan. Quotes must include the completed SF 1449, pricing, required licenses and certifications, generator make, model, specifications and catalog cuts, acknowledgment of amendments if applicable, and evidence of an established partnership with a Japanese authorized service provider when the offeror is not physically located in Japan. The procurement is unrestricted and subject to the Trade Agreements Act.
