Telephone System Modernization and Maintenance

The opportunity has two components: modernization of selected telephone-system components and maintenance of all Mitel systems at the Institut universitaire de cardiologie et de pneumologie de Québec–Université Laval. Modernization work includes completing the replacement of digital telephones with IP telephones to eliminate peripheral nodes. The institution will purchase the required IP telephones directly; the contractor will provide the associated components and labor for identified modernization projects on a fixed-price basis. The solicitation also covers hourly work for replacing digital telephones, either at submitted rates or through an optional permanent technical resource located on site for the contract term. The maintenance requirement is stated as three years, with two optional one-year renewals. The notice identifies the procurement as an open competitive Request for Proposal in French.
