The City of Jacksonville is seeking a single-source maintenance agreement for its Siemens SOMATOM Definition AS64 computed tomography scanner. The scope includes Advance Plan Plus coverage with corrective maintenance labor, service parts and consumables, planned maintenance, safety checks, quality assurance updates, technical telephone support, remote assistance, CT detector and tube coverage, a 95% uptime guarantee, and defined on-site and remote response times. The attached Siemens proposal describes a three-year service term from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2029, at an annual price of $118,925, with an alternative five-year term also listed. The justification states that the equipment and its proprietary software can only be serviced effectively by Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc.
