Live Television News Feed Service Delivery

This Request for Information seeks industry input on solutions for delivering live local, national, and international television news programming to up to 35 end-user locations across multiple buildings at 17 Wing Winnipeg. The potential solution must support conventional two-way service in unclassified buildings and one-way service at up to four locations within Canadian Armed Forces physical security and emissions security zones. Proposed solutions must include an option that prevents return-data transmission in one-way locations and must use secure, dependable hardwired infrastructure without wireless connectivity. Respondents are asked to describe their company, relevant experience, service-delivery approach, equipment, infrastructure, connectivity and installation requirements, security-zone capabilities, limitations, approximate installation costs, approximate monthly service costs, and innovative or alternative delivery models. This is an information-gathering exercise only and will not result in a contract award, although it may inform a future procurement.
