Description
The Government of The Bahamas is soliciting bids for a complete, pre-integrated 150 kW diesel emergency generator system for Police Headquarters on Nassau Street. The scope includes the generator set, generator controls, automatic transfer switch, built-in and external fuel tanks, fuel distribution piping, exhaust system, weather-protective sound-attenuating enclosure, foundation and civil works, dedicated normal and emergency feeders, grounding, protection, controls, and distribution modifications. The contractor must supply new equipment from the original manufacturer or an authorized supplier; locally assembled units are not accepted. Work includes design coordination, installation, factory and site testing, commissioning, automatic-transfer and utility-failure testing, load-bank testing, documentation, operator training, and warranty support. The bid must include technical and financial information, a completed bid submission form, company profile, business licence, tax compliance certificate, manufacturer data, technical compliance/deviation schedule, evidence of similar experience and at least two project references, delivery and installation schedule, warranty information, type-test reports or certificates, testing and commissioning methodology, pricing schedule, and any exclusions or deviations. The solicitation also requires a bidder equipment questionnaire and electronic submission through the Bahamas E-Procurement Portal.
