Description
The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is seeking vendors to establish a Master Service Agreement (MSA) to provide lifeguard training and certification services. This would certify qualified candidates for potential seasonal employment as DCR state lifeguards. The DCR also seeks vendors to provide temporary rental of aquatic facilities (pools and ancillary spaces) for training prospective and current DCR lifeguards. Vendors can bid on either or both categories. Vendors providing training and certification must be licensed and meet the standards of the certifying organization, such as the American Red Cross. Training courses and programs must prepare candidates for seasonal employment with DCR, including a written test and a practical swim test. Vendors for aquatic facility rentals must demonstrate they operate a facility that provides sufficient space for lifeguard training and exercises.
