Description
Shared Health Manitoba is conducting a Request for Information to understand market offerings for replacing the current breast cancer screening risk assessment and radiology reporting software used by BreastCheck, CancerCare Manitoba. Respondents may propose solutions that assess breast cancer risk using validated models, support consistent mammography reporting by technologists and radiologists, facilitate diagnostic referrals and review, and improve radiology reading through AI- or CAD-assisted capabilities. The RFI also seeks information about clinical workflows, configurable or customizable features, Canadian regulatory approval, integration with the client registry and RIS/PACS through HL7/DICOM, appointment scheduling, patient self-service, reporting and evaluation tools, hosting options, implementation timelines, AI-related functionality, and five-year budgetary pricing. Responses must include company background, solution capabilities, support for screening operations, integration details, and other capabilities relevant to the BreastCheck program. AI components will require legal, security, privacy, and clinical approvals.
