Description

This opportunity outlines the qualification requirements for becoming a source to repair the Advanced Programmable Signal Processor (NSN: 1270-01-396-3088, P/N: 783R300G01), which is a component of the AN/APG-68 Radar system used on F-16 C/D Aircraft. Potential offerors must notify the government of their intent to qualify and demonstrate capabilities in repair, inspection, testing, packaging, and storage. This includes having access to necessary facilities and equipment, which will be subject to government evaluation. Offerors must also verify they possess a complete data package, including all relevant procedures, drawings, and specifications, such as Northrop Grumman drawing 783R300. The repair process must conform to ESA-approved engineering/technical data and comply with Unique Identification (UID) requirements per DFARS 211.274. Offerors are responsible for providing data showing the results of all quality, performance, and environmental evaluations at their own expense. A qualification test plan must be submitted for prior approval, detailing how compliance with performance, environmental, mechanical, and quality assurance requirements will be verified. The government reserves the right to inspect testing processes, including on-site witnessing, with at least 30 days advance notice. The estimated cost for testing and evaluation is $76,000.00, with an estimated completion time of 1400 days. Offerors must be fully qualified before the contract award date. Source Qualification Waiver Criteria are also detailed, allowing for potential waivers based on submitting certifications of prior supply to the government or OEM, existing qualifications for similar assemblies or components, or previous qualifications for the same item.
