Description
Assumption Parish School District is requesting proposals for a provider-managed leased-lit-fiber wide area network connecting 13 eligible district entities. Proposals must support 5 Gbps or 10 Gbps connectivity at each location, routed inter-site connectivity without requiring a district hub, provider-managed routing equipment and interfaces, fiber-compatible handoffs, logical traffic separation, 24/7 availability, a target of 99.9% uptime, outage escalation and repair support, critical alerts, and certification of circuit, latency, jitter, and interface-error metrics. Special-construction proposals must include fiber routes and cost breakdowns. The District is also requesting pricing for 5 Gbps and 10 Gbps dedicated Internet access, with a bundled basic firewall solution. Vendors must provide a network architecture and diagram, explain their technical approach, identify applicable equipment, address all specifications, provide pricing and fees on the required forms, and comply with E-Rate billing and service-provider requirements. The requested contract structure is a 36-month term with two one-year extensions, not to exceed 60 months, with services intended to be operational by July 1, 2027.
