Description
The National Research Council of Canada's Flight Research Laboratory requires a mission-tailorable AS-3 intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance sensor pod to support Department of National Defence-funded research. The requirement includes raw materials, design, engineering, manufacture of a baseline pod, assistance obtaining operational clearance for National Research Council aircraft, and integration of initial sensors. Additional work may include engineering, technical support, and manufacture or modification of the pod structure, brackets, wiring, fairings, and radomes to support future sensor integrations. Interested suppliers must demonstrate that they hold the intellectual property rights to the AS-3 pod's design and engineering data and can provide a pod identical to the baseline AS-3 pods used by the Royal Canadian Air Force. The proposed standing offer is approximately five years, with the period stated as October 2026 through March 31, 2031.
