Albeni Falls Dam Spillway Gate Replacements

The Seattle District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking potentially qualified sources to fabricate replacement steel spillway gates for the Albeni Falls Dam (AFD) in Oldtown, Idaho. The project includes fabricating a minimum of five and a maximum of eleven new vertical lift steel spillway gates offsite, including paint, non-destructive testing, seals, seal heaters, cathodic protection, wheels, dogging, and latching mechanisms. The project also includes the fabrication of two new lifting beams with electric gear motor-driven actuators for latching and dogging mechanisms on the lifting beam and gates. The new fabricated gates need to be delivered in a staged and scheduled manner so that USACE dam operations are not impacted. The contract solicitation and award are planned for FY26 for the first 5 gates, with the remaining 6 gates being optional award items in subsequent years. Interested firms should submit a capabilities package describing their interest and ability to meet the requirements.
